About the author, the Daimonas: Demetrios Vakras
Demetrios Vakras photographed in front of one of his paintings with the pet budgie, The Hubster, in his art studio in 2004. (The Hubster was "euthanased " by a vet in June 2006).
Demetrios was born in Melbourne Australia in 1962 to parents of Greek origin (his mother comes from the region of Arkadia, meaning "the land of the bear"; his father from the island of Samos. He lives with his barbarian partner, Lee-Anne.
