Osama Bin Laden: the perfect Mohammedan
There are Mohammedan propagandists who invent the myth that terrorism which is perpetrated by others of their faith distorts and misrepresents their faith; what they would like us to believe is that people like Osama Bin Laden have hijacked the religion and imposed on it their own agenda in contravention of its peaceful principles. In the west there are those who, on the basis of either their personal ignorance, or because of their own personal religious agenda, peddle the same misinformation. Australia's Prime Minister, is one example of the chorus of western voices defending Islam. Australia's Prime Minister stated that the 11 September atrocity in the US was:
" '... a blind act of indiscriminate destruction and hatred.' It was also an attack on the 'decent values of Islam... Barbarism has no ethnicity and evil no religion.' " Age (newspaper) 19/9/2002
This overlooks one crucial text: the Koran.
"It is not for any Prophet to have prisoners until he make wide slaughter in the land. You desire the chance goods of the present world, and God desires the world to come; and God is All-mighty, All-wise." The Spoils 8.67-68 (Arberry, published by Oxford)
Osama
Bin Laden is attempting to fulfil the Koranic definition of what it is
to be a prophet, and according to the Koran this means that he has to commit
mass murder on a grand scale!
